A good foodpanda order is less about the menu than the maths. The final bill is the food plus delivery and other small charges, minus any voucher, and each of those can move depending on how you order. This guide goes through the parts that change the total.
What makes up a foodpanda bill
The headline menu price is only the start. Foodpanda adds a delivery fee that depends on distance, demand and the restaurant, and may add a small-order fee when the basket falls below a minimum, plus a service or platform fee on some orders.
Always read the order summary before paying. Two restaurants with similar menu prices can end up far apart once foodpanda's delivery fee is added, and the nearer one is often the cheaper order.

Pick-up: the cheapest way to use foodpanda
Pick-up orders skip the delivery fee entirely. You order and pay on foodpanda, then collect from the restaurant when the app says the food is ready, without queuing to order.
If the restaurant is on your route home, pick-up is almost always the cheapest foodpanda order, and dedicated takeaway vouchers make it cheaper still. It is also quicker at peak times such as iftar during Ramadan, when riders are in heavy demand.
pandamart and grocery orders
pandamart is foodpanda's own grocery service, run from local warehouses with fast delivery on everyday items: milk, bread, eggs, drinks, snacks, cleaning products and toiletries. The foodpanda app also lists partner shops and supermarkets.
Groceries reward bigger, planned baskets. One weekly pandamart order spreads the delivery fee over many items, and grocery vouchers usually carry a minimum spend that a small top-up order will not reach.
Check pack sizes and unit prices, since a smaller pack can look cheaper while costing more per kilo. Fresh produce is picked for you, so add a note if you have preferences on ripeness.
Is pandapro worth paying for?
pandapro is foodpanda's monthly subscription. It has offered benefits such as free or reduced delivery on eligible orders and member discounts at selected restaurants and pandamart; the exact perks and minimum order values change, so read the current terms in the app.
Work it out from your own history. If you order delivery several times a month, the saved delivery fees can quickly exceed the subscription price. If you order once a fortnight, pay per order instead.

Payment, riders and timing
Foodpanda Pakistan accepts cash on delivery as well as cards and wallet payments. Some vouchers only work with a particular card or wallet, so check the voucher conditions before choosing how to pay.
Delivery times and fees rise at lunch, iftar, dinner and in bad weather. Ordering a little earlier, or scheduling an order where the restaurant allows it, can mean a lower fee and hotter food.

The 50% foodpanda code is a first-order offer, as the name says. It will normally carry a cap on the maximum discount and a minimum order, so build the first basket up to the point where the cap is fully used.
The Rs 1000 grocery code is for a large pandamart or grocery order and is likely to need a high minimum spend. Save it for the weekly stock-up rather than a quick top-up.
The Rs 150 pick-up code stacks naturally with the saving from skipping delivery, which makes it the best value on an everyday meal you can collect.
